Future of Multiple Winners in Online Slot Jackpot

Slots have changed noticeably over the years and so too has the language of slots. Let us explore a few slot terms with this short-version glossary.

Slot Online

Basic Slots: Single pay line, called Straight or flat-top slots, has a constant top jackpot payout that does not change.

Bet Max: is to bet the maximum coins for each play or spin. The top payouts occur when the maximum bet is wagered. Exception: when playing multi-line slots, you have to activate all pay lines, but to extend your playing time, wager 1-2 coins or line.

Bonus Additional Slots: Characteristics include multi-spins, 5 Reels, multi-lines, bonus games, wild symbols, scatter cover, multiplier and nudge-hold.

Collect: Quantity of credits or cash won following a session of slot game play. Bonus slots conclude the bonus round with a Collect button.

Double or Triple Symbols: Whenever these symbols appear in the middle of one pay line slot in combination with other symbols making a winning combination, the payoff amount is doubled or tripled. Two or three of the exact symbols raise the jackpot payout.

Strike Frequency: is the average number of twists for slots. The lower the hit frequency it shows the better. For example, a 2 indicates a hit every twist, while a 7 is a hit approx. every 7th spin.  It is much better to get a payout on average each 2nd spin, as opposed to every 7th spin.

Hold and Re-Spin Bonus Slots: Player retains the Reel results while other reels spin unassisted leading to additional credits.

Line Bet: Wager for every line triggered. Tip: to receive complete value at a multi-line bonus slot, you need to activate all available pay lines.

Linked Jackpot: increased by a percentage of Coins bet by a couple of machines.

Multi-Line Slots: offer multiple pay lines up to as many as 50. The majority of these versions come in penny denominations; also nickel, quarter and dollar.

Multiplier Slots Version: pays for certain symbols on a graduating scale of slot online. On a 3 reel, you get 5 coins for a ‘cherry’ playing 1 coin, 10 cover two coins and 15 cover 3 coins. The payouts for playing 1 coin are much smaller than if you played with maximum Coins.

Nudge Slots: Slot attribute where a paying symbol will ‘drop down’ making a triumph. It might be a basketball, diamond, cherry or wild symbol. You only need a little nudge up or down and you are in the money. Nudge slots generally display the word ‘Deluxe’ from the title.

Progressive Slots: offer growing Jackpots dependent upon amount of monies played via the connected bank or carousel slots. A larger bankroll is required and all progressives are at least three coin maximum slots with two jackpot levels – primary and secondary. When jackpot wins, values are reset to minimums for each. Max play is mandatory here.
